Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a founding member of the European Union. It is a parliamentary representative democracy with a constitutional monarch; its official languages are Luxembourgish, French, and German, and its official currency is the Euro. Luxembourg is well connected via high-speed rail to all of Western Europe, and via air to other global destinations. It has a highly developed services sector, especially in banking and related financial services. Alter Domus’ corporate headquarters is located in the capital city of Luxembourg.

Alter Domus has developed unofficial English and German translations of the Standard Chart of Accounts (Plan Comptable Normalisé Luxembourgeois) - Grand-Ducal regulation dated june 10, 2009. This Acrobat document allows you to compare French, German and English vocabularies used in the classes and sub-classes of the Luxembourg Standard Chart of Accounts.
