Since achieving full independence in 2003, we have grown from a Luxembourg-based company of 96 to an international company of more than 350. We have offices in Cyprus, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Jersey, Luxembourg, Mauritius, The Netherlands, Singapore and a representative office in New York. Our aim is to increase our international presence in the future, which will in turn bring us closer to our clients.

Social Life
Here at Alter Domus we take our social life very seriously. That’s why we have a dedicated events team composed of volunteers who regularly organise sporting, cultural (and sometimes just plain fun) events. Every year this team organises an extended ski weekend for all staff members and their spouses. Interestingly, we have found this event to be particularly well-attended. The enthusiasm has spread, too - we now have a regular year-end dinner party, as well as frequent events thrown for birthdays and weddings. Of course, we understand that such fun helps foster good relationships among our colleagues, and is an essential aspect of a healthy working environment. It also provides a backbone for life here at Alter Domus, where teamwork and the sharing of knowledge are both encouraged and valued.

Training
Our commitment to you our coworkers is evidenced by training policy. Each year we develop a new plan (covering technical knowledge, industrial knowledge and interpersonal skills), which enables you to build your career, further develop your abilities and evolve within the company. We encourage internal training to support “knowledge sharing” among colleagues, and value external training opportunities and professional certificates. During your time with us, you will be in a position to qualify in Luxembourg as a réviseur d’entreprises (IRE), an expert-comptable (expertise comptable luxembourgeoise) or to obtain your ICAS certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Compensation Structure
The company’s compensation and benefit policy is designed to respond, as much as possible, to your personal situation. It includes:
- A base monthly salary
- A bonus rewarding your exceptional work or contribution (discretionary payment)
